I'm Itamar Katan, a freelance product designer and AI builder. I design and build EdTech platforms, AI tools and interactive products, from the first idea to a working MVP. From 2022 to 2026 I was Product Designer & AI Builder at MindCET, Israel's EdTech innovation center, and before that I designed products at Perion and STAGA. Since July 2026 I work independently with founders, schools and small teams. I build with AI every day, share the process with about 3,300 people on LinkedIn, and give around three talks a year to designers and founders.

For four years I was Product Designer & AI Builder at MindCET, Israel's EdTech innovation center, designing and building products for mobile, web and iPad, including Chameleon.AI. Alongside it I designed for STAGA and Perion, and freelanced for about two and a half years. In July 2026 I went fully independent.
I build with AI every day and share the process publicly: the wins, the failures and the numbers. I recently came back from a year-long trip in the East, and I work remotely, in Hebrew and English.
